Random stuff for 04-22-09

it's amazing just how totally random these advertisements are... like REALLY random!
it's showing ads on
- blogging (think i'm already doing it though...I think...)
- jewellery (nice, but i'm not really a jewellery wearing kinda guy...just not my thing!)
- forex trading (I don't even know what that is)
- Internet explorer 8 (i'm not even using 7)
- buying foreclosed homes (still need money though...always 1 little catch..damn)
- selling online (I need items to sell, and I need money to get items to sell, and I need money to sell them...damn, takes money to make money....)

I gave in today and signed up to facebook again after my friends nagged me about it... WHAT am I doing back on there...ugh.... gotta see how long I stick around on there this time before I leave again... the time is ticking away.

I think i've picked up a bit of a cough from being in the hospital on the weekend... CRAP!!! I leave there with more illnesses then I had? that's NOT right!

The weather outside is so...BLAH
it rained a bit earlier in the day, and we haven't had sun pretty much all day, and its windy...this is April? This is spring? meh...it's Toronto/Canada.

I'm selling some stuff on craigslist and kijiji, a tv, and my psp... I don't really use my psp, I don't even know why I held onto it this long and not sell it earlier... just waiting on legitimate offers now and let them go, its amazing just how many scam "offers" i've gotten... all of them with the same story....

They want to buy it, but they're out of town on business...The person (usually son or daughter, thats about the only part of the email that changes, rest of it is pretty much EXACTLY the same) they want to buy it for is in Nigeria on some peace work type thing, and they'd like to ship it to them, they'll send me payment though Paypal, plus fees to ship it to them and so on.....

I've gotten 6 of these "offers" all of them with the exact same email, but just a different name on them.... all of them with the exact same story.... it's like these people troll Craigslist (i've yet to get one from my Kijiji ad like that) for items and people they can scam.... COME ON!!! Where are the legitimate buyers? and where are the people (by that I mean authorities) that look for these people to put a stop to the nonsense....
